    Major . . . 'er Colonel Goose:

Costas, I am continually amazed by the solid understanding you possess of
how to use colour. I wish I had that kind of an eye. This is a military subject
so well done, that is basically drab military colours. Of course, but in your
hands the figure just springs to life, re you talent for painting the helmet,
the jacket, the lapels, the skin tones, the eyes.

Indeed, his personality definitely does come thru.

You have quite a gift. Wow,

Costas another excellent result my friend, I really like how those red lapels frame the figure and bring some much needed colour into it.

    All the best mate

Rick , you make me feel embarassed ! The truth is that i love to work with vivid colors and not with too muted as some military subjects might like to, so i do it as i prefer it trying to do it right artistically and historically . I am pretty glad that some people like it

    Best regards

    Costas ,
Really like what you have done with this one , especially the helmet cover .
The facial features and character of Hindenburg has been brought to life .

Could you possibly tell me where the reference came from for the yellow backing on the collar lace

Great painting , this is going to make a very impressive sight when these are all together ...how about a pictures when you hav edone Franz and Sissi ?
