General Constant de Rebeque Waterloo 1815

    Dutch General during the battle of Waterloo. Figure is made from Airfix Collectors series parts. I think you can see which figure was main part.
    54 mm. Painted with Humbrol and acrylics.
    I made this figure about 15 years ago, but it still is one of my favorites

    That's a clever use of Airfix , nice to see Dutch subjects as well

    Looks like the legs were from British 10th Hussar, epaulette from Imperial Guard , sheepskin from Cuirassier , horse from Bengal Lancer ??

    Nice to look back at the older pieces and remember how much you enjoyed it ....and still do obviously

    Airfix collectors series are my favorite source of spare parts. Especialy the horses.
