I bought this beautiful figure in Girona, Spain, in the Art Girona Shop, wen i went the Soldat de Plom, in 2012, after seen a workshop of painting horses by the Master Gustavo Gill.
When i arrived at home i started immediatly to work on it, but i have some problems with oil paint and varnish, so the figure stay in the cabinet.
This year i removed the paint and restarted, this time only with acrilics, from Vallejo, Andrea and Scale 75.

That is superbly painted. Well done for stripping it off and starting again. The blue and the gold lace stand out for me.

To achieve such subtle color transitions on the horse's pelt without using oils, takes some serious skill.Hats off.

Is the gold trim NMM or did you use actual metallic?
