I would like to share this figure I sculpted/converted, which I gave to my grandad for Christmas. He played football for the "Old Barts", a champion senior league club in Eastleigh during the 1950's. I converted parts from Airfix "Multipose" kits to create this pose. This is the first time I have done a significant amount of figure sculpting and I know I still have a lot to improve.

You can see the build log here: http://www.hfmodeling.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=124075&page=1

    Regards,
    Chas

I don't like soccer. But you made a very, very good figure for your grandad.
Excellent sculpt. He can be proud of his grandson.

Wow, what a stunning debut piece of sculpting. Excellent work mate. Can't wait to see it in person at WASMEx.

Head down, eyes on the ball, weight on the back leg, lovely balance.
    Well done.

    Chas ,
I like the idea of the para and from a nation not immediately thought of , I have the Osprey book , very interesting it is ..certainly an elite force . Looking at the vignette , I like the groundwork especially the vegetation ...will keep an eye out for this .

    Keep posting

I'm glad you like it, Derek.

Nap, thanks for your comment on the paratrooper. From making the vignette I have become fascinated with the subject also.

    Thanks for all the feedback,
    Chas
