WIP From Sharpe's bust set.

  1. Geoff Charman A Fixture

    I purchased the Sharpe Bust Set from Mitches MM, and have cleaned them up and primed them.

    I have decided to start with Obadiah Hakeswill, from the 82nd South Essex Regt. (Prince of Wales Own Volunteers), but as I had the Artist's oils mixed up and ready to go I painted all three heads first.

    The hair still needs to have highlights added once the paint has dried.

    Now to start on Obadiah's body which will be painted in my usual Vallejo acrylics.

    Ages ago, it seems, my son and I watched, and loved the TV series and read all of Bernard Cornwell's books. Looking forward to seeing them coming to life, so to speak.

    Thanks Guys I feel as if I am really back into my painting, I managed to do some of the tunic at the modelling session I did at the Tank Museum on Thursday which I was surprising as it was so busy.
