Here's the latest. I'm nearly finished. The groundwork is sculpted and all the elements are painted and weathered. I still have a couple of small details left to paint on the figure.

Very nice, John. I enjoyed watching the development of your diorama and figure. Kinda reminds me of an old WW2 movie, "Dunkirk". One of the scenes has two members of a British squad looking for eggs on an abandoned French farm. One is a Welsh country boy and the other is a Cockney. Guess who finds the eggs?

    All the best,
    Dan

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your comments. I painted the groundwork yesterday and should be able to add the vegetation tonight.

Bob, the eggs were made from Magic-Sculpt. I rolled out a snake of putty and cut off equal sections and rolled them in my fingers to obtain a sphere, then lightly along one direction to obtain an egg. I made about ten and picked the best four.
