That is avery nice piece of work altogether Christos.
And a good period often neglected ,a lot of good stuff painted in this era by Eduard Detaille .
I really like those paints also ,very clean and vibrant ,do they blend the same as oils or do you have to paint dry on dry.

It is hard to say what is the best: the sculpt or the painting ! Both are very great and together it makes a wonderful figure ! The head of your figure come from an old warrior kit of the american civil war ?

It is a very inspiring work. Thank you for sharing :)

This looks really nicely done, but shouldn't that blue be a lot darker?

Thank you for the comments guys (y)
Einion I choose to paint the blue insteed of the dark blue, like the officer on the center of the painting

Excellent sculpting and painting. You're a braver man than me sculpting all those delicate seams and stripes on the uniform. Nice base and ground work as well. Very good job.
