Fantastic work Roc. I had a chance to buy this kit from a friend's gray army but opted for the Chassuer Chevel instead. You are doing a remarkable job with this figure. I am anxious to see it finished.

Hey Guy, I hope you had a terrific birthday, you are like a good wine, and you get better with age.
I'm glad you like the figure so far, I still have a long way to go.
The Chasseur Cheval is a great figure; you should have talked your friend into giving you both figures .

Hey Alex, Thanks for following my step by step.

    Dark blue:

Base= Windsor blue + Ultramarine blue and a bit of Mars black.
Medium highlight = Cerulium blue + Lemon yellow.
High highlight = Medium highlight + a little bit of Titanium white.
Medium shadow = Base + more Mars black.
    Deep shadows = Mars black.

The colors were applied wet on wet.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers

Great work indeed so far Roc. I really admire your painting since you paint in oils as i do :) I'm curious to see your ground work. As Keith said he is looking a bit on his left. Did you do that in purpose?
