Hello all! Another my conversion of JMD figure (original Garde mobile), and another french marin. But, for once, I depicted marin from Franco-prussian war.
It`s sad, but I found some annoying mistakes in uniform after the end of the work. I made a marin with colonial infantry`s belt and trousers.

A very cool figure.
I liked a facial expression in particular.
The painting of accessories is also nice.
I think the feature of the figure of JMD is being expressed well.

Snow was made from baking soda, mixed with PVA glue and white acrylic paint. Melting areas were made by tincturing wet mass with black ink, diluted by water. Tnen snow was covered by glance lacquer.

Wow! I like this one, simple pose, great details, and some nice painting. Thats one big bayonet, hate to cop that one.
