    Roger,
You have painted this to a high standard, looks great on his base and the ground work is superb.
What have you used for the snow?

    Regards

    Good stuff Roger.
This is a tricky little figure with a lot of small parts to contend with , remember the late Pete morton commenting on it when he was sculpting it .
I have it in the grey army , he has been a prisoner for a couple of years now .

    Excellent work Roger.
One remark: it seems that the gun is bended....can be the angle of the picture.

The Chassepot rifle is straight but the odd shape of the bayonet caused me to think the same.

Well mate what can I say you have done the figure credit, Pete would have been proud of what you've done as are we at Ellie's Miniatures. the ground word has set it off just great.

Your right about the bayonet it is a funny shape I have an original in my collection so Pete had something to work from. it was the first and Last Figure Pete managed to finish for us. we hope to have the unfinished one Pete was working on for Euro.

    Cheers
