    Nice start roger.
I will be following closely as I have this one primed and in queue. If I recall the lace on the imperial guard drummer... There will be tears... And swearing... A pleas to whatever magical diety you pray to. In a nutshell, the lace is a bitch.

    Go get em tiger!!!

I know what the others have said is true, but compared to 30mm flats Roger,
that lace will look 3 feet wide !
    Enjoy

Cheers Bob. I took this back to work with me to clean, assemble and prime so had a bit of a headstart that way.

Cheers pal. I would buy everything that Ian has released at the drop of a hat Richie but with my flat addiction they probably wouldn't get painted.

    Hi Roger,
I like what you have done so far, I would appreciate loads of pics as you do the tunic and braiding, Having stripped a figure twice trying what to do first ie, tunic followed by braiding, or braiding followed by tunic. I would like to follow an expert.
    Thanks

    Thanks Mick.
Will do. The plan is to do the braiding first, then if it does go pear shaped there won't be as much to strip/repaint. I always paint faces first as that is the part which will make or break a fig. likewise with the braid, get those out of the way then it gives you a good foundation of the rest of the piece.
    That's the theory anyway.
Not so sure about being an expert though, I'm an amateur at this kind of thing.

Roger, there is a way round (if you'll pardon the pun) this problem, just put him on the drive and roll the car over him a couple of times, that way he'll be a flat :).
Sorry Ian, no malicious intent mate, just trying to salve Rogers flatist conscience :):).
    Regards, Gary,
PS Go for it Roger (y)(y):D.
