    Hi Guys

I have the Historex/Nemrod Hussar mini bust. I want to paint him as a member of the 1st Hussar Regt, is it possible? I'm not an expert in the Napoleonics era but I want to paint him historically accurate. The 1st hussars worn sky blue pelisse amd dolman but which shade of sky blue? One of my reference books (Osprey: Napoleon's Hussars) shows a light sky blue, another one (Historie and Collections: French Hussars 2.) shows a dark sky blue...

    The figure

    Many thanks.

    Hi Béla,
this pic shows a uniform of an ADC to Bernadotte, in sky blue. As you can see, it's quite dark.
