Its with a great pleasure that I present you a soldier of the French Dromedary Regiment...

A few weeks ago I posted and ask him opinion and help for develop a French Soldier in the Egypt Campaign... I have to express my SPECIAL THANKS to all you that helps us in this task, and made possible this improvement and accuracy of this figure... Your help was and is fundamental for us... If we are improving its thank to you... RPmodels, in my opinion, are developing a good work because have many friends and supporters... THANK YOU...

This is available in 75mm and in 1/9 Bust... I hope you like and enjoy thsi figure...

For us it was very difficult to develop this figure... The information available arent very good, but thanks to LT Colonel Rita, this task isnt so difficult... My SPECIAL THANKS to you Sir... You knowlodge and information about Napolean Armies its something of other world... You have to publish more books Sir...

This piece will be lauch in EuroMilitaire...

This is absolutely stunning, what a beautiful piece of work I'll be surprised if you go home with any, after Euro! The only thing I can see is that the sabretache might be a little thick in section, but it's not beyond the skills of most to correct what is a minor detail.
A "must have" of 2016 for all Napoleonic fans.

the photo can not be reversed, otherwise it would be the saber in the wrong place

Great piece !!!!!! is one of my favorite period, napoleonic era !!!

I see the sabretach, and to me is very thick, must be thinner !it was basically a bag to carry documents
(rear view)
the musket was used on the right side of the soldier, at least that I know ! (see the ilustrations abov)
the piping on the sleeve also was in beak and not had the Hungarian bond, you can see the illustrations!

True that most of the illustrations show it on the right side, but the 11th picture down shows it on the left, and others do not have the musket bucket on the right. As he is using a lance in his right hand it makes sense to have the musket on the left.

The other minor points can easily be fixed.

A very interesting and wonderful figure of a rare subject Hugo. Congratulations - excellent work.

see, muskets are all on the right side
perhaps the author of illustration error
the spear was used on the same side of musquete yes!
not have the absolute certainty of information, but over time I deal with was napoleonica I'm pretty sure, but he liked to have opinion from someone more knowledgeable, of course!

Hi Guys ,

The plate is ofcourse Rousellot , so although yes artists made errors ...bit unusual for him but ...seems strange such an artist has depicted the musket on the left side ........did he have a reference when it was done ?

Saying that I am assuming the musket is seperately cast so you could move it to right ( if I do I will also put the musket with the barrel facing up by cutting and reversing )

The cuffs are easy to do as well but perhaps our trooper was an ex hussar and kept his uniform ?

Sabretasche easy to just sand back and detail up the back which is what I will look at doing

The piece has great movement throughout and that camel looks mean!

I am itching to see this and as a bust of course !
