Now the Dettingen vignette is nearing completion it's time for another larger size piece. These are from the French figure society AFCFEF, http://afcfef.fr/ and on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/Afcfef

The faces are still shiny and wet.

I thin the figures are 40mm Marc. Thanks for posting this Roger, I bought 6 vignettes from a club in France last year and couldn't remember who they were-you have just solved the puzzle for me!

Will you be at Darlo?

You're correct Claude they are 40mm figs. and glad the puzzle is solved. :)

I'll be on leave for S&L so unless something serious crops up I'll be there. :joyful:

This time I will remember to write it down-I've just ordered the two new 54mm Generals, Kleber and Foch, I bought Kirmann last year, I'm not sure if I will ever paint the 40mm figures as the subjects are great but ....they are so small....Arghh:eek:

Hope to see you at S&L-I've booked the hotel and looking forward to it.

They're nice figs. Foch is my favourite from those.

I'm also looking forward to it, I'm a member of the Darlington club but only get to the show every other year due to work, the monthly meetings also take a hit.

Kirmann is a bit larger...
I painted it last year a pure pleasure... (I did post some pictures)
all the AFCFEF flats are great...

good start Roger !
will be following this post carefully !

Cheers Colin. One of each or both the same, as far as I'm aware they wore the same cut of uniform, only the colouring was different. If you or anyone else knows different please let me know before....
The plan at the moment is to do a Zouave and a Turco.
