    Very cool.

The link provides lots of photos. You'll see he's cranky because of the g-string he's forced to wear!

That figure is 125 quid though!!!!

There are some really nice "Elysian drop troops" among the other new releases from Forge World. The detail looks very good, and they'd make for a nice diorama.

Got those Elysians on order......saw the weapons at the UK IPMS nationals in November and seeing the figure sculpts I'm astonished at the detail. especially when you know they're sculpted in casteline and only 30ish mm tall

Still expensive tho. 30 drop troops = 1 bloodthirster

My son just started up with these Warhammer40k figures. I am impressed with the whole genre. The sculpting is excellent, although some things are out of scale. The amount of detail in this scale is remarkable.

How old's your son, John? Mine is 7 and not quite there yet in terms of interest, but IF he does, he'll be lucky because I've acquired so much of this stuff over the years.

Detail can be excellent, but as to scale, I've no idea what's going on there! Sometimes I don't believe GW do either!

My boy is eleven. I hope he'll begin to paint soon and eventually get into our hobby. Right now he's all about playing the game with his friends. They have a group that meet after school. I believe this is the group that will eventually keep our hobby alive.

That bloodthirster is a really cool piece...shame it's so expensive...My boy is just eight, and paints a little, same GW figures...I must say his patience and control really surprise me, maybe this is a good excuse to see how he takes to using the putty.. ;) ;)
