    Hi guys,

it's been a while since I've done something WWII, so I decide to paint this figure. It's by Alpine Miniatures (1/35th) with a Hornet head. Not that the heads (you get two different ones with each figure) aren't great, but this way i like to personalize my figures a bit. Sculpting, casting and details are superb. A lot of the big boys can learn from this new company.

Please let me know what you think of it so far.

    Greetz,

    Gino ;)

    Hello Gino,
Your figure is looking good so far. Glad to see you back into WWII. I brought out an old Series 77 figure of WWII and put the brush to him as well. Hope to see more as you progress with the figure

    Hi John,

I think (99% sure) that I will place him on the roof of a Panther tank. I have cut a part out the roof of the tank the same size as the base. I now need to detail it and then hope and pray I still remember how to use an airbrush ;) I'll keep you guys updated.

    Greetz,

    Gino

    Hi everybody,

here's an in progress picture of one of the figures I'm currently painting. All that's left to be done is giving the trousers an extra highlight and shadow and painting in the detail on the trousers. Oh, and the base has to be done too. When finished I will post some pics of it.

All comments, hints and tips are very much apreciated.

    greetz,

    Gino

    Hi guys,

The figure is ready, waiting for his base. Unless someone has some comments on things I need to do/change? For the base I'll need to learn how to work with my airbruh again, so it might take some time before this is finished. Worst case scenario I'll have to look for something different.

All remarks are more then welcome.

    Greetz,

    Gino
