I have been working on these 2 figures over the last couple of months for a collector. The scene will consist of La Meridiana Miniatures Huron Scout and the French Marine Scout.

The first is the Huron Indian taken from the recent release of the Indian in the canoe scene. It is about 1/2 way finished with still alot of work to do.

The second figure is actually further along now than these photos and all that remains is the gun. Pictured below is the French Marine about mid-way through the painting. I will take additional photos later this weekend.

Nice work Guy! Can't wait to see this one come together. Are you using the canoe in the scene?

    Thanks Jay,

I'm not sure whether I am going to use the 1/2 canoe or the full one. Guess it depends on having a base.

Marvelous painting Guy! How did they ever keep those caps on their heads?

    Hey Guy,

I'm looking forward to seeing how this vignette turns out. What color blue did you use for the marine's uniform? I am using Vallejo Prussiona Blue. It seems to match pretty well what my reenactor friends have.

    Thanks Marc & Paul.

Paul ~ The color I use is an enamel from Floquil (Prussian Blue)
