    Hi pF,

We are pleased to continue to expand one of our favorite series, the Retreat from Russia with sets NAP0637-NAP0641 French and Allied Cavalry! The Retreat was a brutal affair for all involved, but horses in particular suffered tremendously for lack of fodder and the need for men to consume them as food. Very few troopers made the Retreat and as such Napoleon's Grand Armee suffered from a serious lack of Cavalry at the Battle of Berezina. What was left of the once glorious mounted arm of the French Grande Armee was primarily an amalgamation of units combined to help screen the final crossing. We have presented them here are such with a Carabinier Officer, 2 different Cuirassiers from the 5th and 8th Regiment, a solitary Polish Line Cavalry Lancer, and lone Hussar from the 8th Regiment trying to raise his weary horse which has collapsed. These are wonderful pieces that complement extremely well the other figures in the series and are a great addition to dioramas of all parts of the Retreat from Russia. We hope you like them!
