Hi Roger,I presume the arrow shows the direction of the light source which aids your painting?? If so, that's a clever idea. The highlighting on the metals is very good.

Yes, the arrow is just a little reminder of the light source. I can't take the credit for it, I saw someone else do it and thought it was a good idea.

Great start, Roger, and that is a great tip about the light source! My hat is off to you, I have a lot of 30mm Seven Years War flats, but I find Braille scale more daunting as time goes by, even with an Optivisor Is this a single piece, or are you working on a series of Landsknechte?
