So cool! I love the Ma. K. series

50% done on the flesh and about the same on the eyes. Gosh I can spend 2hrs on the eyes and then look at them in a photo and hate them LOL
Sorry for the bad pic...…….. but it does make the face look better :)

It's nice to see another Maschinen Krieger figure on someone's bench! Yours is coming along nicely. I think you really nailed the five o'clock shadow!

    Thanks Brad
For me it's one of my favorite figures in the Ma.k universe.
Trying to work out what colour I will paint the suit next.

The comment over on the MaK forum, about felt, made me see the current primer as a set of pajamas! ;)

I think my favorite MaK figure is the female Strahl officer, or maybe Linc's Helen figure. I like the injection-molded figures, though, as mannekins to practice painting techniques.

Looking forward to your next update on this one! Will you put him with a suit, eventually?

  10. MrBMB A Fixture

Yes space PJs , now I feel I can't paint over them LOL
I was planning him to go with the camel or Falke with a small backdrop

Trying colours I don't normally use :nailbiting:

I think the boot colour is drawing the eye to them rather than the face...…………..tell me if I am wrong??? I think I need that change the colour to something less catching!

Maybe he's about to do the Moon Walk :D

  14. MrBMB A Fixture

Well he does have a Spaceship of sorts (Camel) so he does belong in space.

I would put a number of natural umber washes (or even glazes) on the boots - it will tone down the brightness without loosing too much of the colour

Nice looking piece....agree with LH about toning down the boots...……….

I can't even escape from Ma.K on Planet Figure. Trying to resist buying into it, but the kits look like fun.

Surprised to see you putting him with a Camel. Wave just re-released the Super Ball and have the Kautz coming next month by the look of it. Pilot is looking ace btw.
  18. MrBMB A Fixture

I have three of him so don't stress (y)
  19. Forté A Fixture

Now that's just showing off

Buy them. Buy them! BUY THEM! I predict that you will enjoy every moment of building a suit and painting one of the figures.
