I just completed the Viking today after adding the snow. I had never used the Hudson & Allen snow before so I dug into my display case and pulled out an older figure, Frankish Warrior 80mm and used the snow on this base first. I liked the results and moved over to the 90mm Viking to complete the scene. The shield design I took from a line drawing photo from a Museum web site. All comments are welcome.

That is really well done. Makes me want to get one more than ever now...

Especial well done on the cloak and the shield design. That shield design reminds me of the NATO logo.

Thanks Keith........The shield design was in black and white in the reference I had so the colors were my choice.

Thanks Kenneth.........I have painted alot of Vikings but I have to say this is one of the nicest figures I've had the pleasure to do.

Hey Guy, the viking looks great , you did a great job. The ground work with the snow looks realistic. ;)

Keep up the good work.

Cheers :)

Dear Guy,

A very well done figure but your pictures are grainy. I think you are using a low resolution for the shots. You may want to try a higher resolution as the grainy pictures may do injustice to your beautiful painted figures.

regards :)

Hey Guy my friend your figure indeed looks awesome. You really did a great job on a great figure. I will agree with Wong though regarding your photos. I also see that the pants look a bit shiny. Maybe it's the pic or the fresh paint or even the photo itself.

Thanks for the comments guys. The camera I use is one of the first digital cameras that came out. Until I replace it, the pictures won't get much better.

Dave - I didn't do an sbs on the tunic. Was done in acrylics.....sorry
