    Hello Guys,

Well, it is been a while since i finished a figure but now it is.
It was a joy to paint this Bruno Leibovitz sculpting for Metal Models.
The only thing that whas difficult to paint where the eyes. You can't reach them.
I'll tryed several time's to let the black at the size of the picture's disappeard with photoshop, but unfortenaly i had to leave this up to my son.
For now, i hope you can enjoy it, en feel free to give critism and comments.

    Marc.

DEar Marc, very crisply painted, I think your stuff improves all the time. I've seen this one and I do know exactly what you mean about figures where the faces are made more difficult because of helmet visors. shame it wasn't a seperate piece.
Keep up the good work mate!

Well Mark, from what I can see from the pictures, you have definitely improved.

I really can't give you true critique beacuse I can't see face too good and the pictures are far away, maybe some close ups?

    Cheers
    Roc. :)

Even if the photos are not that good it seems that you did a great job with this beautiful figure indeed. I really like your blues. Great work my friend Marc. The only thing that I would consider is to "spice up" the groundwork. A few leafs or grass would be a good idea.

    Hi Marc,

I cant give any critics because I cant see details.
But what I see seems to be well done !!!

Beautiful work Mark. I know those eyes are hard to get at........but worth the effort in the long run.

    Xenofon,

Thanks my friend. It was a hard journey on this one. For the base: there is some grass growing between the stones, but i wouldn't overdo it. Leaves, well maybe it can be done, but in the summer there are no fallen leafs.
    I think it over.

    Guy,

Thanks. Yes it was worth the effort. But when all is done, you can't see nothing off the suffering that a man got when he really wanted the eyes painted.
But i know for sure: This was my last Napoleontic figure.

Ohh okie Marc... simply from the pictures I couldn't see the base very clear.
Your last Napoleonic?? Why man?? Don't disappoint me... just pick up figures that are easier to paint... Wait and you will see tomorrow my latest project... it's 95% done.

I can feel your suffering Marc... but those words still makes me smile...I think it's something we all experience...and eyes can be such a pain sometimes..and it's a real shame when they can't be seen on the finished figure..Anyway, what I can see from the pictures looks good and I can see that your paintwork is getting smoother with softer transitions, and that can't be bad.

    All the best my friend...Roy.
