Is it just me or does that hand look abnormally large compared to the rest of the figure?

Thanks much guys. Mike, the hand is in scale, but what throws it off is the microphone that he's gripping as it is cast as part of the hand and it's hard to differentiate between the two parts until I get some paint on it...I never thought much of it til you pointed it out.

Painting

Finally got this guy ready to paint. Started laying in the base coat and highlights. Tons of layers and blending left but it's good to finally get started. Cheers, Stephen

Got the left arm attached and put things together with Blu-tak to make sure it all worked right. Definitely the craziest, most off-balance pose I've ever done to date. Should get it all done within the next week or so. Let me know what you think. Cheers, Stephen

Thanks buddy. Um, depends on whether I'm on Florida for a two-week rotation during that time. I'm gonna try to be here in Texas but unfortunately we rotate down there to work with our main ops branch for big projects in the field. We shall see.

Thanks guys. Joe, I based it's height on the picture of Duritz below. It even seems awful tall in the pic as well, but I thought I'd go with it.

Just a couple little holes to fill, some touchups, and the last paint on the base and it's done (finally).
