    Hi

I realized that I never saw a rundown of the contents of the last issue. I just finished reading it. Here's what's covered:

    Contests
    Payerne 2004
    Marseille 2004
    MFCA 2004

    Beginners corner
Horse Caparason (sp?) - heraldry on the figure in progress
being painted in oils over acrylic base

    Interview
10 questions for the inestimable Le-Van Quang

    Collection
The second part of an article on Starlux figures

    Uniformology
    Cuirassiers of the Guard 1854-1870
Lancers and Dragoons of the Imperial Guard 1854-1870

    Conversions and Scratchbuilds
"A question of form" some conversions of figures representing troops at Marengo. A history lesson with some cool looking figures but no description of how those were made...
    Mike Blank's Bastille figures
Retreat from Russia by Diego Ruina - the 90mm Andrea figure stunningly reworked.

    Taken in Hand (reviews)
Primus Pilus - the Pegaso figure by José Gallardo
Stormtrooper, 1918 - Andrea 1/10 scale bust by Fraser Gray

A decent, but not great, issue IMHO. A lot of stuff that's not up my alley.

The new release section prompted much drooling of course, with lots of stuff previewed here on the Planet.

I bet the next issue will be out pretty soon, and I'll post the contents once I get that, barring someone beating me to the punch!

    Cheers
    Andy
