    Hi guys,

here are the final pics of Field Marshall Blucher. Thanks to Graham at CGS Miniatures. A great bust, beautifully sculpted by David grieve and superbly cast. A delight to paint.

    Hi Tony ,

A lovely job all the way , really does look like the man himself (no doubt helped by the sculpting skill of DG) , love the fleshtones and of course the decorations ..the aguilette also looks really good and you have nailed the blue as well .

Wish I could paint as fast!!!

    Thanks for sharing

This is really nicely done....have to agree that all David Grieves stuff was always an abosolute pleasure to paint and am really glad that Graham at CGS has kept them going.....be really nice to see something new from David one day I live in hope.....

I hope somebody can persuade David out of retirement. He's still my favourite sculptor and his figures are a joy to paint. A beautiful job on this particular bust.
