FFL Para,DBP,bust so far

    Hello All,
    The hands are now being worked in.Hands can be just as powerful and expressive as the face and can convey emotion also.
    Carl Reids Imperial Guard bust with flag and eagle comes to mind as the hands portrayed quite a tenderness caressing the flag ,very emotive thought.
    This bust I hope to convey a relaxed state but still wary of the situation.Lets see.

    Andy, Really like the pose of the FFL. Looking forward to seeing this one completed. I have not painted a figure of FFL from this period, but am very tempted due to this
    bust. Hope to see the piece continue to come together.:)

    As I have said before you have a skill at depicting soldiers in battle , tired and very natural poses ..this is another case with this ...not my period but I just love the pose !
