    Oriol -

I agree with all of the above comments - however, I would move the figures left hand off of the muzzle, or lower the hammer. Lowering the hammer would be the least difficult I'm sure. Might prove to be a permanent entry into ones' medical records if an "accidental" discharge were to occur. Great work!

If the hammer is at half cock its safe and another way is to cover the steel with a leather boot, there by if the hammer is worn, it will strike the leather. So his hand is safe

It's safe if the spring is strong. But best is not to cock it unless an urgent response is required. But maybe it's not loaded in this case. But then why would it be at half cock... Been a long old day and the mind boggles.

There is half cock and full cock, full cock allows you to fire, half cock is a safety measure. All soldiers are taught when in half cock to test it by pushing the hammer forward. If it goes forward the the weapon is defective. At any rate all the powder has been lost by having the weapon up right, the powder will fall out of the pan. the other safety measure is to put a leather boot on the steel, if the hammer does go forward the flint will not strike.

Good points. Used to shoot black powder myself so I'd never rely my hands to a half cock myself - all or nothing for me.

Thanks for all your comments... in every figure I try to do it better and your information is very wellcome.
But I need to differenciate the personal appreciations (you would do it diferent... of course is your appreciation!) and the errors (I try to control all the aspects, but I'm mortal). The second aspect must be corrected but the first is something absolutely personal and I can listen very diferent comments, but finally I decide.
In the fututre will be figures that you will love much... I promise ;-)
