Sunday 27th September 2020 sees the inaugural Fantasy Model Show come to the King’s Hall in Stoke-on-Trent as part of the Midlands Toy Soldier Fair.
This will be a showcase for the very best models, sculptors and painters from the worlds of historical and fantasy figures, covering all the genres of Sci-Fi. 34 tables in a dedicated exhibition area will be covered in the finest examples to inspire collectors, along with models, paints & supplies to buy, as well as being able to get advice from the experts.
The show is being run in conjunction with Fantasy Figure International Magazine, the new monthly publication focused on bringing you the latest news, interviews, modelling techniques and more. Drawing on talent from across the world, each issue will feature the best painted miniatures as well as providing inspiration for your own projects. You’ll be able to read about many of the exhibitors coming to the Fantasy Model Show in the run up to the event, including great detailed photography of their work.
Show organiser Patrick Adams said;
“The skill, craftsmanship and level of detail found in Fantasy modelling & painting is becoming truly astounding and the subject matter so broad & interesting that we felt it would be great to provide a platform to bring like minded enthusiasts together & introduce the genre to many more.
With its rich history in modelling and painting we thought Stoke-on-Trent was the perfect location for the show to get established. The King’s Hall is a stunning venue and really easy to get to, so we are looking forward to opening the doors on the first Fantasy Model Show in September”
Entry to the show is from just £5.00 for adults, with early doors entry available at £10.00. Under 14’s admission is free. Visitors get access to the entire Midlands Toy Soldier Fair with their admission.
Getting to the Fantasy Model Show is easy, with on site parking and great transport links. The venue is just 3.5 miles from J15 of the M6 and a short walk from Stoke-on-Trent train station.
