It's been a while ago that I posted something here but I was too busy with my work and the family.
But I managed to get this figure done for Steve. It's a 75mm fantasy figure sculpted by Steve Readdie.
All the paintwork is done with acrylics, mostly Vallejo.
Christos: I tried to increase my speed of painting but I didn't manage. :)

Here are the final pictures, all comments are welcome!

Cheers,
Marcel.

Hi! Marcel.
The finish which is Great.
The sculpting of Steve is excellent, too.
I think it's very delicate and is elegant painting.
A wonderful masterpiece.
I congratulate completion.

Mitsutaka.

Fun piece! Well painted and the impression of wind sculpted into the hair and the standard are great. Her legs are pretty thin in the thighs, but a very small observation on a fun piece over all!

Jay H.

Very well painted, but the shape of the legs just doesn't look right at all.

Congratulations

Hi Marcel!

Once in while I look your blog and seen this work there and is great to see her finished.
Great work as usual. Is for Reedies´s miniatures box art?

Marcel, excellent painting, I especially like the heraldry on the shield and top . And lets not forget the great sculpting from Steve , congrats to both of you.

Cheers Ken

Marcel, I saw here in real and it is a great figure, good sculpted and excellent paint.
As I told you before, the more the familly expands the less time for the hobby.
But that change with the years. It was great to speak with you again in Antwerp.

Marc

Hello Marcel
Finally something different from soldiers, a women's presentations and gaining the attention of construction but also subject matter of painting.
I particularly like the color of female skin fit perfectly on this miniature.
Generally your job I like!

Excellent work , Marcel, I really like your painting style!

I can imagine how hard it would be for a male crusader companions to attain their vows of chastity next to this lady :):):)

Many thanks Dimitrios, Mitsutaka, Serkan, Jay, Steve, Pedro, Ken, Mark, Marc, John, James, Joseph, Carl, Rob, Alexandros, Nemanja, Gino and Robert jan!

Jay: I also liked the movement of the hair from the figure. Concerning the legs they are thin but as this is a fantasy piece it doesn't bother me.

Pedro: Yes, the figure will be released by REEDEES Miniatures soon.

Dimitrios/Ken: The heraldry on the chest is the smallest I have painted sofar. It was smaller then the one I painted on a 54mm figure.

Marc: For me it was also a great pleasure to talk to you. I had a great time in Antwerpen but it was too short. You're right with small kids my hobby time is very limited to a few hours per week.

Alexandros: It was my first female and fantasy piece and for sure not my last. For the skin I added a pink tone and didn't go that far in contrast.

Nemanja: I think your right :)
I'm glad you like my painting style, I hope to improve a bit more with the next figures.

Cheers,
Marcel.

Re: Fantasy Female Crusader from Steve Readdie

Hi Marcel:

Just got back in town for visit to my daughter in American Southwest. And I
am trying to play catch up. A very nice rendering of Steve Readdie's fantasy
Female sculpt.

I love your skin tones and the Red Hair. I think Red hair or blonde hair is so
hard to paint. But what do ah know? I've got a bad cold and ma' brain seems
to be disengaged. What ever.

Great rendering of Steve's lovely sculpture.
