Like your style, John. - They look suitably battered and shading and highlighting is very dramatic. The trousers were btw made in grey-green/field grey cloth to improve concealment - especially towards the late phase of WW II. But that is of course your choice and will hopefully not trigger another commenter`s war:D,
    Cheers, Martin

This thread has reminded me a pic that I gatherd some time ago, when I was doing some research in order to sculpt a Fallschirmjaeger:

    Good call Diego!

The 2nd pattern jump smock abandoned the "step in-design" of the first pattern(y)

    Hi John
They are really a beautiful pair love the paint work and shading weathering as said is subtle but very effective

    Great cheers Chris

It is evident a piece of cloth added in the low back as a modification to open the "bonesack" of an old model.

Superb brushwork John. Both figures are outstanding.

Hello planeteers, I found some time during the Christmas holidays to work on the third figure. I decided to go for the faded 3 tone camo on this one.
I will add the gunslings later. The clothing will of course have some additional weathering as soon as the tank is ready.
I'm determined to finish this, but I wonder if it will be in 2015:( . Still 2 more sitting fallschirmjager to go and of course the tank commander.
    Comments welcome.
Cheers and a good 2015 for everyone.

    John van Pelt.
