    Hello friends!
My new job at a scale of 200 mm. The figure was produced by Warriors, sculptor John Rosengrant. As usual tempera paints.

    Great job Constantin! (y)

It wasn't. From what I understand, J.R. basically did two similar sculpts of the same figure, this one and one of the same figure holding an MP 44 Stürmgewehr. It was the one with the MP 44 that Warriors released.

    Thanks friends.

Yes, I bought two figures of J.R. Fallschirmjaegers.
They are exactly the same except for the hands and arms.

Yes it seems that this one did have some sort of (cough) "limited" release because I've seen a few painted up over the years. Whether or not this was sanctioned by whoever owned the master at the time I have no idea. But it seems that a small number of this version made it onto the market. I actually prefer this version to the "official" Warriors release, although that one is also a fine figure.

    Well done !!!
Great paint job . If I remember this figure was in the dragon catalog and was part of the Kirin section only a sketch was given .
The only ww2 200mm made by them was the karkov ss machine gunner.
Once again great job how did you do the rain stripes? image.jpeg

Nice to see! And a good painjob it is.

I have his buddy more or less assembled and it has been laying around for years.
I realize I must give it another go when I see yours.

this is a great piece ! I've always liked it and managed to pick one up some years back from ebay USA, the cast is pretty rough with some nasty airbubbles. it did feature in one of the verlinden magazines in the 90's also. you have made a great job of it too ! nice to see one completed.
