Very nice work and a unique display. The only thing I question is the wear and tear on the panzerfaust. That was a use once and discard launcher tube.

    Hello Turkoglu,

Very nice work, very nice painting and a very nice display.

However, I would recomend to make the water more glossy...
The figure downstairs would be wet above his knee, cause of wading...
And just wondering, if the soldier with the panzerfaust came from downstairs, schould'nt his pants also be wet till his knees? And so the ground under him would be a little wet aswell...
Even the walls would be more moist...

    Gloss clear ???

    Sorry,no hard feelings.
I realy like your work, just details I mention....

    Grtz,

    Excellent

    Turkoglu,
    excellent results.

the figures support the diorama, seeming natural.
Guess you were planning to add the Infra-Red scope all along....now I fell a little silly, oh well..

I agree with beyond, some touches of satin varnish for 'wet' effects would add that little "spark" to make this a real gem.

As a request, this is one of the best dioramas I've seen.
Could you post how you did it (the sewer, the street, etc) as a Step By Step?

I would like to do something similar some day.

    excellent work!

    Hi Metin,

Very well done. This is an excellent diorama. My only comment is that it could do with at least one more figure, if not two.

The two figures don't have any relationship to each other, so there is no narrative or story to tell. Another figure descending into the sewer via the rungs on the wall would link these two figures together more effectively, and also give the eye something else to focus on.

The best dioaramas are more than just a group of figures on a base; they tell a story that helps the viewer understand what's going on, and how each figure relates to the others.

In the case of this diorama, you are attempting to tell the story of the fall of the third reich with only two figures. Perhaps the man with the infra-red could be hunting a sabateur and finds his body floating in the sewer?

Perhaps this could be a metaphor for the descent into hell (shit) that they were experiencing as their world crumbled around them.

I hope these suggestions are helpful.

Excellent work. I agree with Tony , probably another figure would add more character to this beautiful diorama.

    Cheers
