First proper painting session for a couple of years since I lost the sight of my right eye. Only painted half the face but confidence coming back. Not easy judging distance of the brush tip.

That's looking fine. Couple of problems I've found with monocular vision are painting with the brush tip waving around beyond the item I'm painting - painting thin air & the inability to focus on anything at arm's length.

Geoff, that's exactly what was happening today. In my case it was the brush tip not making contact when i thought it should. Adds to the excitement I suppose.

Glad you are back in the game.It takes courage and it is already visible that you are on the right track.It shouldn't be long before you make a full recovery.Keep on painting and posting.

The bust is from Reedees miniatures. I think I purchased it from someone on here about 3 years ago.

Great to have you back and painting Ken. Tell you what that's more than a bit good regardless of how many eyes you've got.
Please don't take this the wrong way but this really made me laugh ...... I know but I've always been a bit black regarding humour

I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. Made me laugh all over half my face as well. I'll keep my eye open for any further comments.
