This is a new release by the sculptor Carlo Borella. It is inspired by the image of the refugees fleeing the fighting in Ukraine, carrying their pets...
The figure comes in Carlo's Miniatures own very sturdy box, with scrunched paper shreddings to protect the contents from damage during transport.
In the box come the usual hand written thank you card from Carlo (a nice touch), a small card confirming the limited edition status and the no. of the copy, and a small sticker relevant to the sculpt.
The other side of the Authentication card has a picture, which I assume is the concept art for the sculpt.
The figure is a single sculpt. My copy arrived a few days after ordering, and as my previous order from Carlo came equally fast, I have no doubt that that will be par for the course.
The cast surface is a little rough, as is befiiting an eldery lady, wearing a disheveled overcoat, and carrying a (probably reluctant..) moggy. The only issue I had, was a small mould line, but that was easy to remove with a scalpel.
