Coming soon from Pony Soldier Miniatures, a 1/9th scale bust of Eugene Bullard. I intended to project the spirit of the man and the moment rather than depict a formal portrait of him. Your comments on my effort are welcome.

Sure enough its not a formal portrait. But neither is it a subtle presentation. This suceeds in dramatisation, but fall short in its ambition to "depict" per sa.

All in all a refreshing piece full of motion and attitude. Should enjoy some commercial success.

Terry, great sculpting and nice touch with the flowing scarf, gives it movement and makes it more dramatic.

Probably as equally fascinating and just plain great about this website, is the "learn something new every day" aspect of it.
Along with the technical advice and tips...there are subjects like this (that I was not aware of), that open a whole new chapter of interests.
