    Hello Ladies and Gentleman.

Due to Monday's holiday here in Greece i had a continuus session from Friday night till this morning with many many hours of painting Che

. I was not planning to finish him as he was sitting half painted some 3 weeks . But it just was finished, like that

I tried to paint for my first time in high contrast after many, top painters' and good friends suggestion that my figures needed that to pop out. I have to say that it was, well kind of tiring, as this figure carries the most brush strokes, i have ever used on a figure.

It was all painted in Valejo acrylics, and on some points i have used some oils and some printers inks.

The groundwork is made hosting the kits base in epoxy putty nest and adding vegetation and sculpting detail on the putty area.

I wish u like this one cause it really has some effort in it.

It was a great figure and i enjoyed the painting a lot .

I also was happy painting a personality like this. We almost had some discussion !!!!!!

Good Morning Costas. I have to admit that this Monday's Holiday also inspired me to get some painting going. I think that you did a great job with this beautiful piece. The contrast is really good and i think that it pops up nicely. Your flesh tones are quite good even if you had any trouble with it. My only objection is, that his chest looks extremely empty. I mean if we know for sure that his has no hair on his chest then that's fine.
Other than that, you did a great job.
    What's next on your bench?

Thanks for commenting Xenophon. I am cleaning 2 Seil Models figures, one Byzantine , and one Mongol to make a fighting vigniette of these 2. Nice figures with lots of different techniques to use. Fine drawing on clothes, metal, leather, and a nice base needed as always !!!!!!!!!
i hope next week i ll have some more to show than primed figures

    Costas,

I think you did a real good job on him. The contrast on the uniform looks good & I really like the groundwork. I think a nice finishing touch (since he is in a jungle) would've been to make him look kinda sweaty. Maybe a little dark green under his armpits & down his back. Please don't get me wrong  , it's not a criticism by any means because that's a piece to be proud of.
