Very nice work on this piece. The figure on its own is beautiful. The landscape is awesome, and a lot of work has gone into it. I love what you have done and the water is very convincing. The whole piece gives a feeling of the mountainous area.

Such a setting is a wonderful for your figure.

Like the detail and painting of your figure.

Like how is looking at a bird (explains why he is in that pose)

and the horse is gingerly picking its way across a minor rockfall towards the bridge.

Well thought display piece. It couldn't really be any smaller, with out losing some of the effects you have set up.

    thanks for sharing

    cheers

Your work is big and very wonderful.
    I also liked a figure.
Watercourse and an expression of a rock are amazing in particular.
    I congratulate completion.

    Beautiful George,

You have captured and realize very realistic the natural landscape of Epirus. Along with the figure you have created an atmospheric piece of art!

    Many congrats,

    Nick

Excellent groundwork and attention to detail. A beautifully rendered scene.

As to whether its a diorama or a single figure vignette, in my opinion the absence of a story line and other figures and animals makes this a vignette.

This diorama is excellent :) Something I personally like and the bird (as already mentioned) is distracting that guy. I do agree with Tony that this is more a vignette... A Good one at that ;)

    Cheers,

I think it is wonderful. I love pieces like this. It is like a landscape painting. The scenery is as much a charter as the figure. Really great work.
