Completed Critique Emperor Franz Joseph and Emperess Sissy - UP Miniaturen

    Finally this double painting session was finished.

    Figures in my usuall way were painted fully in acrylics and then mostly repainted with thin oil films.

    Printers inks were used for metals

    indeed very nice work.
    I only find that they don't match together. Franz Joseph is sculpted at his later years, and Sissy in her younger years.
    I don't know if the sculpter wanted them together on a base. In that case i shouldn't do that.

    Hello Marc
    So let me gave a short statement, that you don`t know my work.
    Both figures are assembled at the year 1880- before Mayerling happens-
    its an archetyp in minding , tested by some collectors in shows-
    old Kaiser every young Sissi.
    Indeed Costas has not painted, (like I not sculpted primed bust) an old Kaiser only with grey beard at this time
    and Sissi looks also young in the rare photos around 1890 after Mayerling in black clothes.
