Elite Panzer Soldiers

I want to show two 3D-sculpted WSS panzer soldiers.
The seams and some parts are made special for the 35th scale,
therefore there is some simplification compared to 3D for large scale figures or 3D-images.
I have to show the finished figures a bit later.

    Hello Boris,
Excellent sculpting. I noticed that the pistol case is small for my eyes or looks like very small. Check out some photos and the dimensions just to be sure.

    Have Great Success

    Great looking figs.

The side arm holster is likely the Walther PPK, which was issued to the Wehrmacht.

Just haven't been able to find an example photo of a panzer crewman with this type. Other than off duty and such, it is rare to find crew wearing sidearms while in combat around their vehicle.

Correct me if I'm wrong fellow planeteers, I think this may be a PPK (K for small), I own a real bring back Walther P.38 and I believe the holster depicted is a little too small.

Yes, this is why I posted the b/w photo to illustrate the small appearance of this gun's holster. Another sidearm that was also issued is the P-08 9mm Luger.

The PPK with it's shorter barrel might not have been as popular, with an accuracy range of about 20 yards. It is compact, but can't say with any certainty that it less prone to snag on the interiors of a panzer. For that reason, finding photos of crews wearing sidearms in combat is rare, but certainly if they were reconnoitering on foot or abandoning their vehicle it is plausible.
