    Hello painting Folks!

It's been a while, so here are some new images of my current acrylic paintingproject.
This time around I have the very nice Demon-Bust called "Eligor", once sculpted by the amazing Martin Canale for Pegaso-Models.

Well, I did a few small modifications, which I found adequate and which I want to show first without paint.
I sculpted a "goaty" to his chin ot of greenstuff and magicsculp. I also extended the tip of his tongue a bit (with cyano-glue) and I gave him some skull nipplepiercings. After all, it's a demon, he is supposed to like such "adornments"!

    And here goes the paint...

Hi Dirk: Wow, I've never seen this bust before. But at my old age, you don't
see so good, anyhow. . . Botta Bomb, Botta Bing!

You're off to a great start. The teeth look just right! Really nasty and cruddy.
Looks like a lot of fun. No colour rules, i.e. Panzer Grey numba' 257, etc.

Hope to see more WIP/SBS photos as you progress,

Thank you guys, for your nice coments!

@Rick: ;) You are right, fantasy stuff is just... well, fantasy. So you can allways let your imagination run wild. Which is a good thing. On the other hand, I often need to poke that little brain up there, to give me some decent ideas. :D

Sure I will post more w.i.p. images. Hopefully this week I can continue with it.

    Thanks and kind regards
    Dirk

Hello, friends of the coloured brush! ;)

Well, it's been a while, but here are some new progress photos of Eligor.
This time around I have started painting the metal parts and some leather on his shoulder, where the huge armour shoulderplate will sit, lateron. I also washed in some more purple and dark blues and turquoise/teal onto the skin.

The gold ist still to shiny and bright on these pictures. It will be darkened down with copper and some brown ink on the next images.

    To be continued...soon...

There are some beautiful colours used in this bust, I love the way you have utilised some subtle but very effective shading to bring out the details.Love it

Outstanding Dirk. Q? When you applied the copper and brown inks to the metallics, did you use full strength or did you dilute them? If so, what solution did you use?

    Cheers
