Eastern roman “scutatos”- Syrian campaign, 10th c.

    Hello friends ! this is my version of "Byzantine warrior No2" (Altores studio, 75mm).
    Depicts a "scutatos" (shield bearer), first line infantry soldier, during the syrian campain of the Emperor Nikephoros Focas against the Saracens.
    It is painted with oils on acrylic basecoat. The ground is made with epoxy putty A+B.
