WIP Duelling Heavies Waterloo - Carl Reid

    Working on this masterpiece ! Took some time to get a nice fit but putty and sandpaper does wonders !
    Thanks PF for the references on these uniforms etc.etc. so I have started on the first horse.
    Acryl base and oil paints. The size (120mm) is very nice for a change !!
    Took te pictures with my smartphone so it;s not the best of the best....

    Excellent subject from Carl, and at 120mm this will be very impressive and colourful when complete, certainly not a kit for the faint hearted, your off to a good start and this will be a interesting one to follow.

    Hi Oda, picked this up at a lokal store....it was a display for pencils.......
    I painted the horse with an acryl base and then used oils, different colors of brown from Abteilung 502, mostly Abt215
