He got a knock on his right eye????
There is a great bulb under his right eye....
I supose it has to smooth out.
It is a great likeness but that bulb is a mystery to me

try to see the big picture Marc and geen wegescheten of wratten :)

the only mystery about today's progress was that most of it was acomplished by me from 10am till now and not wanting to have any sunshine today on my face.
by the way, how to remove those awful advertising under my topic?!

Wij hadden geen zon gisteren, grijze sombere dag, 2e op rij.
Vandaag 120 km heen en terug naar het werk. Grijs met een waterig zonnetje, en niet te koud.

I have no idea where the advertising is come from. Maybe Gordy can fix it.

Ik wil niet zeuren, maar de rechter jukboog is dikker aangezet dan de linker.
Maar ik vind het prachtig.......het zoeken naar de gelijkenis.
Heel erg moeilijk om de juiste balans te vinden.

Marc, these kind of nuances like you mentioned about the cheekbone, especially their symmetry I tend to ignore as long as I don't get the right 'feel' about likeness. As you know this is hidden in contours, volumes.
My main problem is the upper skull.
The variety of pictures on the net of Soprano are worth studying but still work on his quintessentials.

    I'm not unhappy with the shapes I wanted, the refining starts and I can think about mimics. DSCF0034.JPG DSCF0036.JPG DSCF0037.JPG DSCF0038.JPG DSCF0039.JPG DSCF0040.JPG DSCF0041.JPG DSCF0042.JPG DSCF0043.JPG DSCF0044.JPG DSCF0045.JPG

no Marc, I have worked too long on this one to be satisfied yet.
Sure there's a good base now as in a bluesshuffle but needs the right accent.

just looking for the ultimate bluenote in this one.
