As you can see it is a French Dragoon circa 1805; The picture was painted by the artist Gabrio Poiana.
The interesting thing is the fact that the painting style is that of the first half of 18th century Europe, in this you can recognize very clearly painters such as Dettaile, Messonier, Grollerone, ect.
The research, besides the precision of the uniforms and the proportions,
You can also see the truly expressive typical European style.
    This picture is an anticipation.
It is part of a collection composed of another 20 painted by yours truly, reproduced , that tell the story of the Dragoons that fought with Napoleon from his first campaign in Italy up to the Battle of Waterloo.
The Idea is to preserve a style destined to vanish with only a few masters surviving Lelliepvre,Conrad,Rusellot.
