Dear Planeteers,
I am currently working on this colorful gentleman. It’s the mercenary bust from ALTORES (1:10 scale). Actually he is a “Doppelsöldner”, literally meaning he is paid for two. He is carrying with ease a ridiculously long and heavy “Bihänder,”a large two-handed sword primarily in use during the 16th century.Due to their large size and weight and therefore increased range and striking power, these swords were not carried in a sheath but across the shoulder like a halberd.
Landsknechte loved to wear colorful and fancy clothes. He is almost finished, some more highlights here and there. Hence, I was not afraid to go overboard by using a lot of colors.
The cast is perfect and the sculpt wonderful as all ALTORES products.
Let me know, what you think.
Stay save!

Great job Sven (y)

I looked at this bust myself because I just love the expression which you've bought out beautifully

Stay safe
