Holla here comes a bust sculpted from Cyril Roquelaine I got years back from him ..as usual a pleasure to paint with acrylics. Rust effects are painted..

    Happy painting,

    Christian

You've captured a sadness in his eyes which is brilliant.

Great work Christian. If you allow me a suggestion, I would change the lower black line from the eyes, by other more reddish.
The look that gives, is as if he wore the eyes painted.
I like very much the rust in his armour and barber basin.

Brilliant finishes all round Christian very well done.
As Eduardo says re-painting the black on the lower eyelid to a much more red / pink colour would IMHO work really well.

    Good work Christian,
I really like the weathered metals, very nice. Sorry but I have to agree that the black around the eyes does upset the balance of your fine painting skills.
    Cheers,
    Keith
