Just for a bit of fun I decided to paint some Flower Fairy flats - then I thought if I do 12 I can make a clock - as you can see it got a bit out of hand 28 flats (30 figures) it is 2ft square (thats about 580mm x 580mm for our metric friends) Most of the flats are by Western Miniatures plus a few from my friend Detlef Belaschk. All are approx 40mm and painted in oils. I enjoyed using colours outside the "military range"
    Hope you like them

Wonderfully painted Stephen. A lovely change of pace from all the military stuff. Whimsical and imaginative.

 that's a hell of a lot of work Stephen but looks very nice.

I've just started my first 30mm flats today and fear for my sanity... you must be completely bonkers after that :)

Steve Brilliant idea big man! Love the composition and the mix of colours used. Just a bit worried how many hours are in your day, is that a Northern Ireland clock with the thirty hours????

    Fun

Fairies, but how many hours in the day?

Still, they look great, and a nice diversion from the military drab range, I agree.

    cheers

Excellent work, Stephen. I have a few of these myself and was saving them for gifts, but this is a great idea. ..and you made it a 24-fariry clock too (much better than a 12-fairy clock! )

    Hi Bluesking,

very nice paintjob you've done, just one remark, I don't think your clock is ticking like it shoud be 60min / 28 flats = ??? LOL :)

Very good work and very lovely flats.

Btw, do Western Miniatures have a website?

    Kind regards

    cya
