Discussion in 'Painting Techniques' started by Daniel Ipperti, Apr 14, 2007.

  1. I folks!
here one of my last finished work an english desert rat from hornet. I need some documents showing an english used helmet like this one (desert camo), because i'm not sure to be realistic. Does somebody got something interresting for me ? many thanks in advance...

Very nicely done. Possibly my all time favorite figure from Hornet! I think the helmet is spot-on. If my memory serves correctly, they were not camoed, but solid kakhi drab just as you have it. As a matter of fact, I like the weathering you did. The uni looks to have a nice faded over-all appearance.

Very impressive, very realistic. The simple base just sets off the figure and your fine painting. Did you paint with oils, or acrylics or what?

Great looking figure. Especially like the tan line on the leg and the beard.
Can you tell me how you did the beard?
