    G'day pF buddies,

I'd like to show you pictures of my completed diorama.

This is my second 1:35 scale diorama, the face of the MG42 gunner is the second I have painted using Vallejo acrylic colours. Uniforms were painted with Tamiya acrylic but this is the last time I will be using this paint, I have Vallejo now!

    Nice

I think this is the first time I have ever seen the 'other side" of that battle. For once, I can see what all those Rangers were up against.

    A very good effort!

    cheers

    G'day Janus.

That's right. A lot of people forget that the German struggle at the top of the cliff was just as, if not more dangerous, than that of the Rangers at the bottom.

Very nice again Chas, The figures are well painted but some of the vegetation looks to be a bit neat. I haven't done any research on this topic (yet) but you have given this vignette? a good scene.

    Great work Chas!
The figures could use a bit more contrast in my opinion.

Chas, I like the composition and the groundwork, the scale is just right. As Marcel suggested, I think you could stand a bit more shading on your figures, but overall, I'm very impressed.

Very nice diorama ! ... just one question, did you make the bunker yourself, or is that available as a kit ? (verlinden maybe ?)

Thanks Johan, yes the bunker was scratchbuilt. You can see how on the first few pages of my SBS (linked in my orginial post).
