Hi, I have just finished this bust from Young miniatures, all painted in acrylics (Inscribe), enjoyed it very much.

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers Steve Walker.

    Hi Steve!

First of all, welcome to the Planet!

I like your rendition of this bust a lot. I think you have done very well with the hair, beard and the white furrim on his jacket.

Do you have more to show us?

    Cheers

    Fine Work

    Hi Steve !

Welcome to PF. Very impressive work on Youngs Classic Hussar, especially when the skin tones are done with acrylics. Not easy to make that medium work as skin in this scale IMHO. The blond hair stubble around the chin is a great touch as well.

Hi Janne, thank you for the kind words, glad you like it.

Thank you Richard, glad you noticed the stubble...I wondered if I had made a little too subtle.

Steve, this is just outstanding! Love the bits of wear you've added to the hat and leather strap and such. This piece is so precisely and smoothly sculpted, those touches just add a bit of realism this piece really needs. Well done!

    Great work

Very well painted. The gashes and damage to the headpiece is particulary well done.
